JOB TITLE: Construction/Development Inspector
HOURLY SALARY RANGE: Pay Grade 21
$19.00 to $29.60 (based on experience)

The City of Temple is recruiting to fill a full-time position for a Construction/Development Inspector. This position is responsible for performing various tasks and handling various responsibilities in Community Development and Public Works for the enforcement of municipal codes, ordinances, and regulations related to construction and development within the City. The work includes on-site inspections of commercial, industrial, and residential properties in the City for possible violations. Other inspections include roads, drainage ditches, and infrastructure. Much of the work is done outside and requires standing, walking, stooping, bending, crouching, climbing ladders, and frequently lifting objects. This position will assist with general city code enforcement along with various responsibilities within public works. Must have a valid Georgia Driver’s License.
